Edukasi gizi dan persiapan menyusui pada kelompok ibu hamil binaan Puskesmas Taman Bacaan
Abstrak
Inadequate weight gain during pregnancy can be an indicator of pregnant women's malnutrition and have an impact on the mother and fetus. Nutritional status prior to pregnancy, during pregnancy, and during breastfeeding are all factors that influence mothers' ability to breastfeed exclusively for 6 months. Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) activities also have an impact on breastfeeding success. The Taman Bacaan Health Center hosts this community service activity. It is hoped that by participating in this activity, the community, particularly pregnant women, will gain knowledge about the nutritional status of pregnant women, the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, and IMD. The first activity is to administer a pre-test to determine knowledge level, followed by counseling on these topics. This counseling activity is desperately needed to improve the knowledge of pregnant women, particularly mothers at risk of malnutrition. Participants actively participated in the activity and had lively discussions. This counseling is one of the first steps for pregnant women, and it can be followed up with coaching on improving nutritional status during pregnancy and after delivery.
